2023 Annual Meeting Notice & Budget

Greetings Highland House Owners:
I hope this communication finds you well. I am writing to announce that the Annual Meeting of the Highland House Condominium Association will be held on Tuesday, May 16th at 5:30pm in the Highland House Hearth Room. Due to Resort operations being limited during this time, we will be providing a virtual participation option. More information on how to participate will be forthcoming. At the annual meeting, there will be an election for three (3) Directors of the Board as allowed by the Association bylaws. We encourage each owner to participate in the election for Directors and request that we receive your intent to run for the Board of Directors no later than Friday, April 28th at 5:00pm EST. We also encourage any owner who runs for the election to submit a one-page biography outlining your background and interest in serving on the Board.
Additionally, the Board recently approved a proposed budget for the upcoming 2023-2024 fiscal year. This budget reflects a 6.2% average increase for residential units and a 10.8% average increase for commercial units, which is primarily related to service contract increases and reserve funding. The proposed budget will be voted upon by the ownership for ratification at the annual meeting.
