    Monthly HOA assessments vary based on unit size.  If you are interested in purchasing a unit and your realtor doesn't have HOA assessment information for Highland House, please have them contact our management team at info@mountainlife.net. Owners receive monthly assessment information with the ratification of the annual budget.
  • chevron_rightWhere do I park?
    When checking in and unloading owners and guests are able to use the Highland House designated spots in the Bus Depot area.  For overnight or day parking owners and guests should use the lower lot to the west of Rimfire Lodge. Key card access necessary to gain entry to this parking lot. 
  • chevron_rightWhere do I take my trash?
    Trash bins are located through the door at the far side of the bike storage room on the Lobby Floor (inside the building).
  • chevron_rightIs recycling available?
    Recycling bins are located on the Lower Lobby Level across from vending. 
  • chevron_rightCan I bring my pet to Highland House?
    Highland House Condominium Association has a strict no animal policy per section 10.15 of the Association's condominium declaration. Service animals are permitted under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

  • chevron_rightIs smoking allowed?
    No, Highland House is a non-smoking building, however, there are designated areas for smokers outside of the building.
  • chevron_rightWhere is the nearest Post Office?
    Outgoing mail can be dropped at any Front Desk location. There is also a Post Office located in Slatyfork, WV approximately 11 miles from the resort. 

    If you have questions regarding UPS or FedEx shipping and receiving, please call Central Receiving at ext. 5625. Guests expecting mail should have it addressed with their Name, Reservation Number, Lodging Complex, 10 Snowshoe Drive, Snowshoe, WV 26209.

    First aid services are offered at the Snowshoe Ski Patrol Clinic located in the Shavers Center (lower level). Additional medical services are located here:
     
    Pocahontas Memorial Hospital – Marlinton, WV (40 min)
    Big Springs Clinic – Slatyfork, WV (Base of mountain)
    Davis Medical Center – Elkins, WV. (1 hr 15 mins)

    Wildcat Provisions – next to St. Bernard Chapel
     
    The next closest grocery store is the Hometown IGA located in Marlinton, WV. We recommend making a stop at the grocery store before getting to the Mountain. 
  • chevron_rightIf I lost an item somewhere around the resort, where can I check to see if it has been found? Where can I turn in found items?
    If you come across an item that doesn't appear to have an owner, we ask that you deliver it to the Depot or the Allegheny Springs front desk location. If you're looking for a lost item, check to see if it's been turned in to the Lost and Found by calling 304.572.5982 or 304.572.5464.
  • chevron_rightAre there any worship centers on the mountain?
    Located high atop Snowshoe Mountain, Saint Bernard Chapel is a worship center that is jointly operated by the Catholic and Episcopal Churches of West Virginia. St. Bernard offers Catholic and non-Denominational worship services on weekends throughout the winter and summer months and on most Religious Holidays. Catholic Mass is held on Saturday evening at 5:30pm. Protestant Services are held on Sunday at 10am.

    The Depot, located between Full Tilt and The Seneca condominium building, is the central hub for information and ticket sales.
